New Website for Minerva Public Library
(September 4, 2009) The Trustees and staff of the Minerva Public Library are very pleased to replace our over-six-years-old web presence with a website that has a better design, is easy for you, the user, to navigate, and is much easier for us to update. The site was built for the library by staff at the Ohio Public Library Information Network (OPLIN) using the open source software Drupal. (August 26, 2009 ) As another school year begins here in Minerva, the library staff and Board welcome students and their parents or guardians back to the library. Many of you enjoyed the library over the summer, and set new records for the number of kids participating in the Summer Reading Program, and the number of books read. We hope that you had a good summer break, and look forward to helping you make the best use of the library for both your school work and your personal enjoyment.
Library Requests Book Sale Donations
(September 1, 2009) The library will host its fall book sale from Monday, October 5 through Saturday, October 10, and will happily accept your donations now of books, DVDs, VHS tapes, and other such items in good condition for sale to benefit the library. All proceeds from this sale will be used for the purchase of new library materials this year for you to check out and enjoy. Donors will be given upon request a formal Acknowledgement of In-Kind Donation which you may use for tax purposes.

Fall Book Sale Continues!
(October 12, 2009) The library's fall book sale began Monday, October 5 at 10:00 am and has proved so popular that it will continue through this week. A wide variety of books for all ages and interests are for sale at reasonable prices, and we add more books to the sale every day. Proceeds will pay for the purchase of new library books, audiobooks, DVDs, and more for you to check out and enjoy this year.
